If anyone has any time to kill on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1:10-3:00 and happens to be near Detroit, let me know. We should get lunch or do something fun that requires not moving my car (I hate paying for parking twice). There’s not a lot going on at Wayne State.
Right now, there are about 50(?) people behind me. They’re all skeletons. Some are whole and others are fragmented. There are three full ones looking down on me. There’s a few with their skulls facing out, and it feels like they’re watching me. It’s a weird feeling.
My professor just said, “Hey, there’s a dead woman in a box next to my desk. Want to see it?”
I replied, “Sure.”
There was a box that was labeled, “stuff for moving” and a partial skeleton in there. She was very old and the bones themselves are very old. She is a she, because of the size of the mandible (no teeth, though) and the shape of her pelvis. We have no idea who she is, where she came from, or who put the box in there.
